Good food pricey tho

I was hoping for great based on reviews but it was very average. Server was nice and helpful but very slow and we were only people in restaurant. Quality of food was OK.... But priced high for just OK food. Pico was watery and bland... Cheese dip tasted like melted American cheese and my Margarita was not one of the better I have had. Atmosphere was colorful and friendly but likely not a repeat for us.

Great food

Rice was bland, chimichanga was just a soggy tortilla that was rubbery and the chicken seemed like it was sitting all day. Way overpriced for the quality I wouldn't recommend it and this was my first and last time eating here. Honestly wish I could get the $50 we spent back we didn't even finish half of any of our meals.

My first and last time to this restaurant. I live less then 5 minutes away. I ordered a stake and it was very bland. The service was as bland as the food was. I asked for some water and I never received my water. I waited like 20 minutes for the bill. I went up to the cash register to pay and I told the person who I was paying about the flavorless steak and she said, " it has has flavor ". I later found out that she was the owner. I must have offered her because she was not trying to make it right. I then was thinking that if the owner is cooking he food that maybe they were looking for a real cook. Just because you own a restaurant it doesn't mean that you can cook.

First time coming. Food was tasty and decently priced. Will definitely return.

Good Mexican food at a decent price.

Not many people in the dining room when we went 9:30pm on a friday, but the bar looked lively and as we left the music was getting cranked up. Food and service both great. Out of tamales but we survived.

Coming to this establishment was a wonderful experience. Jorge, our waiter, was friendly and inviting despite the fact that our party came right before closing. The food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back when I visit CT again from Philadelphia. This place clearly earned 5 stars!

I just gave birth and am in the hospital. I was looking for some quick and tasty food to eat instead of the lousy hospital food. After ordering some soft tacos I was beyond disappointed to realize that I would rather just eat stale saltine crackers from down the hall. The meat was undeniably cheap and tasteless. I can't comprehend how a place with such good reviews can't even make a soft taco.

This restaurant is a small tucked away hidden gem in Manchester. The food tasted authentic and was delicious. The drinks we're very good and our server was amazing.Very colorful and bright inside makes you happy just to sit there

Our visit was excellent. As usual great food, atmosphere and people. We had their delicious tacos and a steak burrito with grilled onions on it, yummy. The staff goes out of their way to make your visit enjoyable.

Food was really good a filling. At first glance I thought the prices were a little pricey. But the amount of food they give you makes it well worth it. I had ordered a burrito which was huge with stir fried beef and onions inside. Which was seasoned very well. And then it came with yellow Spanish rice with red beans on the side. Very full of flavor and worth every dollar. I also thought the inside of the restaurant was very cool as well. With a traditional Mexican style interior with heavy, quality, Mexican chairs. The staff was friendly as well. I will definitely eat there again.

Went there for dinner with a couple of friends. Very less crowd for Friday. Which we didn’t mind. But the food was very mediocre.

Customer service was great but however if you’ve had real Mexican food you would tell the difference right away. It’s way to overpriced to be eating a no salt no pepper tortilla burrito. I don’t recommend this place unless you have no taste in good food or looking for something quick.

After I read all of the reviews on Yelp. I decided to give it a go. I was very disappointed the salsa was very watery it had no flavor at all. The margaritas were terrible so much strawberry mix. I will not be going back. To bad because I love to support local businesses.

My first time here. Comfortable atmosphere and reasonably priced. Ingredients were fresh and service was great. Definitely recommend and will return!

It (sadly) took us years to find a good / local Mexican restaurant. La Bamba is FANTASTIC. We just discovered this place a few months ago though are moving out of state at the end of the month. This place has become a biweekly staple (in some cases like this past weekend, 2 times in a weekend). The food is just incredible. I'm a sucker for the Tortas which are simply heavenly. Wifey favors the el pastor nachos. What we both agree on is the dessert. Pastel de Tres Leches will make your mouth water and the churros are unexpectedly exquisite (each time we've ordered, they have a different drizzle over them from raspberry to caramel, etc). Can I also note just how friendly the people are here? From the folks that greet us to the chefs that feed us, just a GREAT place all around. Five stars. Thank you, love you, and we'll miss you when we move!

If you are looking for authentic and delicious Mexican food, La Bamba will pleasantly surprise you. The menu options are diverse and plentiful, and they have some amazing cocktails. The only thing that could improve would be the service; it was too slow the night we went. Regardless, the staff is super friendly, so it will not deter me from visiting many more times.

Nice place to get some Mexican food

Great customer service! Very sweet and kind! Unfortunately, the great reviews are a bit deceiving. We're used to Southern California Mexican food, which is amazing! The rice and beans were so bland! The hard shell taco shells, came from a box! Unbelievable! I have never experienced anything like it! We couldn't finish our meals.
